Thank you, Joelle, for my audiobook copy of Finding Reality. This short story was originally part of the We Shall Rise LGBTQIA2S+ Rights Anthology Volume 2. I had wanted Nelly's story since we met her as August's BFF in Fighting for Freedom. I was not disappointed though I'm greedy and was sad when this short story ended. Normally preferring Dual POV, single POV was perfect for Nelly's story. Finding Reality spans a large time frame and the timeline overlaps with Fighting For Freedom.
