Karin Feldman's "Fit, Fierce and Fabulous over 50" is a refreshing and honest look at aging and weight management. She recounts her own struggles with weight loss and how she found a fabulous solution through intermittent fasting (IF). Compassionate and direct, the book gives excellent advice on avoiding the pitfalls of IF and offers helpful techniques for success. Feldman outlines the many benefits of IF and the specifics of how to make IF and exercise a way of life. I especially liked all the recipes ideas provided. I highly recommend this book for anyone struggling with weight management later in life.

Fit, Fierce, and Fabulous over 50, by Karin Feltman, is a comprehensive intermittent fasting diet guide with the emphasis of the book on feeling better and living a more healthy life. What I liked about her writing is that you can not only tell that she has actually done this diet and been successful with intermittent fasting, but she also backs it up with scientific facts telling you why it works and how it works. I like the way that she gave about 10 different examples of ways in which you can intermittently fast. This book is written towards women, but I read it (as a man) because my wife has had some success with intermittent fasting. I think many of the same rules apply to men as they do to women, so I got a lot out of this book. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to shed five or 55 pounds. I also like the added bonus that the audible also gives you access to a link with lots of recipes recommended by Feltman. Well written and an easy-to-listen-to narrator.

Being in my 50's, no jokes about my age, anyway. I have had trouble trying to stay active, not easy once you get older, thankfully I stumbled across this amazing audiobook, so many times I had to pause and take notes, there are so much useful information, especially for intermittent fasting and it's health benefits.

Even though it says that this is for women, I found that this will work for men as well. I really love the plant based recipes in here. Very easy to make. As we get older it is difficult to lose weight, not just for women, but men as well. And those of us with slow metabolism makes it that much harder, the author provides us with the science to help get it under control.

I would recommend this to anyone wanting a have healthier lifestyle, great job to the narrator Morgan Scott, very easy to listen to. Author Karen Feltman being a RN makes it much easier to garner trust in this amazing audiobook Great Job!

I appreciate how the author turned her book into an audio. There are so many helpful, well-researched tips and strategies about weight loss techniques on intermittent fasting, but also general smarter eating, and being practical about it, especially for women who are aging or getting older. I also appreciate the author's personal experience with weight struggle and body image. It helps other women who can relate to this as well. This book is a good listen in the car or on a walk when wanting to feel motivated.
