Colt and Sunny have such a beautiful love story filled with sizzling connection, powerful emotions, sweetness, so much respect, and oh my goodness the smexy times are smoking hottt!!! One of my favorite aspects of this story is the emotional maturity of these two—they are down to earth and real, true adults whose actions speak loudly to their characters.
While drama does surface, it is 3rd party based, well-placed and developed while maintaining the truly authentic, blunt, and respectful personalities of our leads. The supporting characters are equally dynamic in their roles, and the cameos from other books are so much fun. I just love Valentine, TX in all of its many aspects, and I can’t wait for more of this amazing town and its inhabitants.
This audiobook can be thoroughly enjoyed as a stand alone, but I must say that the previous books in this series are also highly entertaining and well-written, so reading or listening to them would add to your experience.
