What made the experience of listening to Flight of the Intruder the most enjoyable?

The knowledge of flying and controlling an A6 Intruder was compelling, yet it did not overshadow the characters or plot.

I have never given up on finishing a book but I have made an exception with this book. Reads like a diary and so describes separate events that I found to be of no interest to me. Gave up with 5 hours left if I still had a live membership I would have returned for a credit.
The narrator did his best.
