I enjoyed the unfolding of Morgana and Leon's relationship in this book as she learns the motivation behind him "helping her" to develop her magical abilities. I found the book to be well written and expressive.

The speakers did a phenomenal job in this audio book. I was impressed with the range of voices for the males characters: from a low and raspy voice to a high pitched voice.

Loved the character perspectives which help the listener/reader understand their passion, frustration and fears throughout the book.

I think my fav parts of the story are between Anna and Nyla and the hot love scenes between Anna and Leon.

I only had one small issue with the audio verses the written page regarding the character Sophos. I had trouble discerning between his inner voice and his speaking voice when interacting with the Grand B. But after a few minutes of listening I was able to follow more easily.
This is an amazing series that you won’t want to pass on. If you are on the go often, audio is the best way to “read”. For the majority of my time I still prefer the written page. Either way, my next purchase is book 3!.

Morgana and Leon are made for each other, but the circumstances aren’t ideal. Leon has secrets and those secrets are drawing them apart.

Morgana doesn’t know who she can trust anymore, except for her friend Kyra.

This journey is about commitment, friendship and burning love.. exploding passion.

It’s beautifully written and performed by both narrators. Their voices are so passionate, they instantly draw you in the story.

I’m looking forward to the next part of this story! 🤩
