Absolutely wonderful story, love the writing and the plot was executed so well!

A fantasy world built up brick by brick by each off hand line and a different world view from each character. A recommended read!

It's SO GOOD! The story is engaging from the very first words, the characters are loveable and complex, the presented world is absolutely fascinating. The whole idea of dragons and unicorns and other mythical creatures being not friends of humanity, but rather its enemies, with all the consequences of it, is new and so, so very interesting. The main character, Aaron, is delightful - complex and snarky and insanely practical, and you end up rooting for him every step of the way. I keep recommending this book to everyone, even though most of my friends are not English natives. I adore it.
