About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

A swoony small-town romance that will set your heart racing.

The scowl should've been my first sign to stay away from Anson Hunt. The sexy smirk and the fact that he's my brother's best friend? Reasons two and three.

Anson is my opposite in every way: grumpy, rude, and loves his solitude. It doesn’t matter how many times I try to kill him with kindness; the man simply won’t crack.

Until he sees me shatter.

When my world falls apart, Anson catches me. And as so-called “accidents” put my life in danger, he steps in to keep me safe.

But Anson has secrets with a price.

And when they're revealed, neither of us will escape unscathed. . .

What a brilliant book. I had started to listen to it on my commute to and from work but it got to the point where I had to listen to the end, I needed to know who done it!
A romance with spice (which being honest the spicey was not to my taste but fitted the characters well), but the crime mystery was what kept me hooked with all the possibilities you just don't see it coming.
At the beginning I tought "oh this is how the story is going to go, and its going to be like the rest but it total was not, taking me by surprise and I was deep diving in. Brilliant writing and will be reading the next one in the series.

More twist and turns than a rollercoster
