I bought this book for someone in my family and thought I should read it first. Im not sure they will like what it has to say, but it really makes since. I’ve watched them struggled with self-doubt and assuming the worst, but the mindset tools in here really could shift how you approach the situation. The section about creating stories instead of looking at what actually happened is a real converstaion. It’s written in a way that feels encouraging and not too clinical. Not sure they will leave a review, but I thought it was insightful and could be very helpful.

I got this audiobook for my sister, she’s a Type A personality with a capital A, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better fit. She tends to overthink everything in her relationships, replaying conversations and worrying about things that never actually happen. This book was a real eye-opener for her. The 4-step R.E.S.T. Method is simple but powerful, and she said it gave her a clear process to calm her mind instead of spiraling. The narrator’s voice is soothing, which makes it easy to really take in the message. What she appreciated most is that it doesn’t make you feel broken, it shows you how to build self-trust, stop the constant need for reassurance, and actually feel safe in love. She’s already been practicing some of the exercises, and I can tell it’s making a difference.
