Pulitzer-prize winning journalist Roy Gutman on this edition of Fresh Air. Roy Gutman is currently Senior Fellow at the U.S. Institute of Peace where he is on leave from his position as Newsweek Magazine's chief diplomatic correspondent. He is also director of American University's Crimes of War Project. Gutman won the Pulitzer Prize in 1993 for his coverage of the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina, where he provided the first documented reports of concentration camps. He is co-editor of the book, Crimes of War: What the Public Should Know and is author of A Witness to Genocide: The 1993 Pulitzer Prize Winning Dispatches on Ethnic Cleansing of Bosnia, and Banana Diplomacy: The Making of American Policy in Nicaragua, 1981-1987.
