I enjoyed the first half of this book - but as the story reaches it's climax, I found the motivations of Liam in particular to be quite far-fetched. Some very interesting and quite 'meta' ideas though. The narration was very good.

It’s dark, it’s funny, it’s shocking, it’s uncomfortable. The author has a worryingly accurate knowledge of a certain dark underbelly of modern society and captures it in a manner that makes you feel almost uncomfortable listening to it. The narrator is easy to listen to and strikes that perfect balance that stops an audiobook becoming an overacted play but equally keeps it from being a dull read.
