There's a reason this book is a classic. The story is something only a child, or a drug-addled adult, would come up with 😄

Arterton's performance is reasonable: clear diction, easy to listen to. Where she is useless is character voices - almost all of the characters sound the same. And that's a problem when she has to 'sing' the Lobster Quadrille, with it's back-and-forth between characters, as it's just her narrating it all in her normal voice.
That aside, the story is engaging and she does an acceptable job.

I would listen to it again. But only because I love the Disney Animated version of Alice and so can imagine the 'distinctive' voices for the characters used there.
