Adopted by a loving owner of a children's home, Gloria still had a lot to overcome. She had a terrible secret she didn't want anyone to know that explained why her face was droopy on one side. She was kept out of school to protect her from bullies, but she wanted to learn to read more than anything in the world. She felt she had no one to turn to until a magical unicorn named Sir Louie befriends her. Can he help her learn to love and accept herself? And when Sir Louie suddenly disappears, will Gloria find the strength to rescue him?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

This would be a lovely book to read out loud at school, as it deals with bullying, hope, imagination, adoption and overcoming hardships in life, in a gentle way.
