I had the kindle book sitting unread in my library for AGES so delighted the audio version has finally been released and I could listen instead. Male narrator was great. Female narrator sounded like she had a plugged nose which was slightly distracting. Good story; not as good as book 3, but definitely looking forward to the final one.

It’s super annoying that the female narrator sounds so stuffy in every single one of these books, but this one even worse than the others. Literally every single “m” sounds like a “b”. Other than that the books is alright, same as the others it’s good but it’s dragged out a bit and I don’t like that there are suddenly so many POVs, especially the ones about insignificant characters like the queens. Like I understand that it takes the political plot forward but I feel like it’s unnecessary to write entire chapters from their povs, it could’ve been relayed in another way. I’m all about character development but it’s a bit too stagnant at times. Every single time I think the next book is gonna finally pick up the pace but it doesn’t, it’s a good story but it’s so slow.
