About this listen

Having uncovered a conspiracy within the Mage’s Guild to use the all-powerful Shodra magic items to conquer the world, Gabriel and the Shadow Foxes have no choice but to break into the Mage’s Tower and get them away from the forces of darkness.

Easier said than done, especially when one of Gabriel's lovers is pregnant with his child, but nothing is impossible for Gabe as he continues to master his arcane abilities and become the God of Magic.

I’ve listened for one to six and loved every moment, the mc battle with his strengths and weaknesses has put me on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what happens. The women are just as strong and the narrators bring each character to life with their own style.

Just gets better

the narrators do a fantastic job of bringing this fantasy world to life. its not grand elves and dark lords - people being people. this is a story full of action and also well timed humour. the romance adds a nice touch, with the harem element - it gets a little heavier in this book with some family developments that feel a little overwrought- the girls deciding as one to get in the family way... but it seems to show the main character as a kinder, caring person and gives them more to fight for.

overall i loved it, despite my little niggle on the desire from all the girls to get pregnant. the intruige, the magic system and the fact that the characters all have their own distinct voices help build a wonderful, warm setting.

a geeat series, winding tales and fun romance
