my first audio book download. really enjoyed it. chose the longest story that seemed to appeal & i wasn't dissapointed. was reluctant to stop it. really well written & loved the 'reader'. nice to hear a female voice.would recommend & i'll definately chose another book from same author.

I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end, the clever plot kept me hooked right from the start and I could hardly wait to get back to the story after I put it down.

I read this based on reviews, and much preferred it to Requiem Mass. Like that book though, there are parts that are really quite uncomfortable to listen to. Far too base and dark, espeically for when I'm pottering in the kitchen on a sunny day, or at the gym!

i enjoyed the continuity of the detective characters, and may have missed a book out as it seemed to be quite some time after Requiem Mass was set, but it didn't matter. Doesn't need to be read after Requiem Mass instead. A few stupid things that the characters did which is always annoying to the listener, but a good, long (always important to get my money's worth!) listen.

This was the first Elizabeth Corley audiobook that I listened to and, as a result, I have just bought the other two that are available here. I loved this book. The multiple plots that are woven through it are fascinating without being overly complex (just what you need when listening to an audiobook whilst commuting to work!). It's pretty grisly, but very realistic. I would definitely recommend this as a great listen!
