The Anita Blake series is one of my absolute favourites, I've read the books, now I get to go back and visit her world by listening to the audio versions. The only thing I wish I could have is duel narration, with about 6+ voice actors, because I know the characters that are coming and I'd love them to have their own distinct sound, especially the men 😋. However, the single narrator they've chosen is doing an decent job so far, but Jean-Claude really needs a deeper, stronger tone to really bring him to life, pun intended lol. I can't wait for, well I can't say who or what, but I will say that as you read further into the series, the spice gets deliciously spicy, and the gore gets disgustingly gorier. And Anita, let's just say she's no damsel, the woman, well, she frigging evolves........
