The author has some interesting theories, but I object to these being presented as scientific facts. I am not a scholar, but I find that this book does little to support the comparisons it makes between mammalian and human experiences and brain chemistry and I am finding it hard to distinguish between empirical evidence and the authors beliefs.

That being said, the book offers some interesting food for thought and the advice given seem solid enough, that I will keep these techniques in mind going forward. For what it is, I'd say it's worth a listen.

The narration is a bit robotic. But somehow.the "slow and clear" approach suits the topic well. It was an easy listen for me.
