About this listen

The galaxy is thrown into chaos as each side makes its alliances. The lines have been drawn.

As the slow machine of war starts to turn, allies and enemies alike move their pieces in a bid for victory. Territories are claimed and lost. Skirmishes in deep space determine ownership of the jump lanes that crisscross the galaxy.

As Barton battles his way through selection for the Special Operations Group, his old friends from Odin Nine-Five are outside the wire, protecting a politician.

not a massive fan of mericans writing British characters they can never get the swearing right, it's never used in the right context. it is like they watched one Austin powers movie and thought that was how they talk now. JPC does a good job of portraying some of the characters but when again it comes to British accents just like some of my favourite narrators they go cliche, but that aside the story is gripping the action is fast paced and easy to follow and it has helped me push past the negatives to smash out all 3 books so far. also a little disappointed in the fact he has the UK siding with the Russians but fantasy is just "fantasy". all round good book none the less for it poor portrayal of the British contingent.

very good story, but !
