About this listen

Amongst all of the Stormhosts, none are more vaunted than the Hammers of Sigmar. Forged first upon the Anvil of the Apotheosis, their Warrior Chambers are exemplars of Sigmar's glory.

In the shadow of the Nomad City, the mettle of the Stormbound is tested against the hordes of Khorne in the battle to sanctify the Crucible of Blood, a gateway to Chaos and madness. Within the ranks of the Stormcast Eternals, there is one who is greater than all others. He is the Celestant-Prime, Sigmar's Storm made manifest.

For centuries he slumbered, until the great hammer of Sigmar, Ghal Maraz, was returned and he rose again. But a warrior born must still be tempered, and so unto the swamps of Krahl does Sigmar cast his scion to destroy a powerful creature called the Prismatic King.

Jonathan Keeble sounds as mandy as ever. While this "episode" of Realmgate Wars lacked a goosebump moment, C L Werner did have some rather decent plot twists in his short, but cramped story. Hinks had such a sad ending, but macho to say the least.

The first part, ‘Stormcast’ by Darius Hinks is the best in the entire realmgate series. The narration is fantastic too and brings the characters to life very well. This is one to listen to not read.

Just blinding...

Not my favourite in the series I didn’t like how the first story was written in 1st person but the story was very good it just took a bit of time to get there.

Zoned out. Constant battle. Nothing really that gripping in terms of content. Other than some hero being used to wield ghal maraz in some unknown realm what was the point in this book. The set up and delivery was moot. I'm trying to form a picture of sigmar and his different sigmarites not random stories that sorta but not really and also have a place in it.

Horrendous writing
