Would you consider the audio edition of Hands of Light to be better than the print version?

I have both and I think they complement each other. I think HOL is a dense work, and so having audio and print helps render it accessible.

What three words best describe Susan Denaker’s performance?

Hmm. Susan Denaker was OK overall but in some places really hit a duff note with her intonation. In places, where Brennan is describing personality types and psychological issues, Denaker takes pains to adopt a smug, condescending and judgemental tone very at odds with the nature of a healer. Very ill-judged.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

If you have HOL in print then this will be a useful companion. Because HOL is an instructional manual, you do need text to accompany it unless you plan on sitting and taking notes. PDFs are howvever included with the download with some diagrams etc.

especially nice to listen to the audiobook as it feels like being in a one to one class with the author. but you will need to buy a copy of the paperback book to see the diagrams and work through the questions at the end of each chapter.
