I enjoyed this story on the whole, although I found the heroine a bit annoying with her unstable emotions. Asher had to walk on eggshells to avoid setting off her hair-trigger temper. Isabella came across as a deeply insecure woman, and although that's not a crime, I wish it had been shown that she was not emotionally healthy and probably needed some therapy.

I liked how both of the main characters were able to admit when they were wrong. I got a good sense of the setting, and felt as though I were in California. I look forward to reading more in this series.

This is a quick and easy listen, perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Isabella is a gossip columnist given an assignment to find out the secrets of Billionaire Asher. Her real passion is helping disadvantaged children, but something has to pay the bills. As she gets to know Asher, she can sense there is a secret, but her feelings are growing and her diligence to come out with the article diminishes. Will Asher and Isabella's relationship come first? What will happen when he finds out her real mission? And what about his secret?It goes to show that money is not everything and people are not always as they appear. Fun, easy to listen to, great characters and faith building, this story flows easily on the ears. It will make your heart happy.

Liz Lovegood is a new narrator to me and she has a very pleasant voice. She is perfect for the new adult age, and is able to voice both male and female with ease. I enjoyed her performance and will be watching for more of her.
