'There will be three tasks, spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways ... their magical prowess - their daring - their powers of deduction - and, of course, their ability to cope with danger.'

The Triwizard Tournament is to be held at Hogwarts. Only wizards who are over seventeen are allowed to enter—but that doesn't stop Harry dreaming that he will win the competition. Then at Hallowe'en, when the Goblet of Fire makes its selection, Harry is amazed to find his name is one of those that the magical cup picks out. He will face death-defying tasks, dragons and Dark wizards, but with the help of his best friends, Ron and Hermione, he might just make it through—alive!

The new voice casting isn't very good. I have trouble distinguishing between Ron and Harry, and Hermione's voice is muffled and doesn't sound like her voice in the previous books.

In contrast to the first three new full‑cast editions, this one was excellent. I enjoyed the first two — they were refreshing, and it was exciting to see what Audible would do with them, especially with such strong performances from the young cast. Of course, it goes without saying that Dumbledore, McGonagall and Hagrid were great from the start. But the third, however, lost me; I had to switch it off because Saoirse‑Monica Jackson’s take on Trelawney didn’t land for me and quickly became grating.

This Goblet of Fire edition, though, completely pulled me in. For now, it’s my favourite Harry Potter audiobook.

I’m a huge fan of Stephen Fry’s narration, but this felt different in the best way. The slightly older actors voicing the Golden Trio delivered their roles with real confidence. James McAvoy brought great energy to Moody, with a stunning performance in the latter chapters before he's revealed to be Barty Crouch Jr, and Clare Corbett was outstanding as Winky. Fry’s squeaky interpretation was fun, but Corbett made the character feel entirely new. Hugh Quarshie’s Crouch was equally compelling, with a tone and presence that suited him perfectly.

The production value here is on another level. Bright musical cues between chapters, darker atmospheric scoring in tense moments, and carefully placed sound effects all added a depth and immersion the earlier books didn’t quite reach and what Fry couldn't do alone. It’s made me genuinely excited to hear how they handle the climactic scenes in the final instalments of the series.

Excellent

By now I like these so much I am waiting every month for the next to come out. Just like with the precious books an amazing remake of the original with an amazing cast I would recommend it to everyone HP fan because with the sound effects it is truly a whole other level of immersion in the HP universe.

Yet another amazing Full cast edition

it is worth 5 stars out of 5 just for "The First Task" chapter. It is as if I were there among the spectators when Harry was flying that Firebolt of his avoiding Horntail's tail and fire breath

Excellent reading and performance

It’s my first time delving into the new adaptations and not the Fry versions. As this is my favourite book of the Potter world. Production is fantastic narration is great. However, voices of the characters, Harry, Ron, Ginny and Hermoine sound so similar almost like it’s two people playing both roles of Harry and Ron. So, not very easy to distinguish. Hermoine sounds like she’s perpetually whinging. Very whiney. The accents for the Bulgarian casts and French is awful particularly Madame Maxine. I will listen to the 1st adaptation to compare as most people are saying the same thing via the voice actors. And 1-2 are the best . I will add that some of the voice actors were ace!! Special mention to Voice of Moody, the nuances and many facets to his character development as the story progresses are superb!

Almost but not quite
