'There will be three tasks, spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways ... their magical prowess - their daring - their powers of deduction - and, of course, their ability to cope with danger.'

The Triwizard Tournament is to be held at Hogwarts. Only wizards who are over seventeen are allowed to enter—but that doesn't stop Harry dreaming that he will win the competition. Then at Hallowe'en, when the Goblet of Fire makes its selection, Harry is amazed to find his name is one of those that the magical cup picks out. He will face death-defying tasks, dragons and Dark wizards, but with the help of his best friends, Ron and Hermione, he might just make it through—alive!

well that's a let down. The first three books where excellent. this one not so much.
harry and Ron now sound so alike I struggle to follow along. harry almost sounds dimwitted at times.

A change of narrators

I love the series, I love the story, I love the sound effects. But…this feels like it’s not been vetted at all compared to the others. Changing narrators is fine, it’s clever move. However some of them literally sound the same (and significantly older than 14/15) the adult actors should be disappointed in their performance and the director for not picking up on this.

Pains me to knock it

Unfortunately, it's not a pleasant change from the original three younger voice actors. I understand the reasoning behind the change, but I don't think it's very good one. The biggest issue is I can't seem to recognize if Ron or Harry is talking. They sounds so alike. And Ron sounds just ... too cool.

Hermione's pretty good, thought she reminds a lot of Emma Watson. Not sure whether that's a good thing or not. However, James McAvoy's Moody is absolutely excellent. 11/10, as amazing as Kit Harrington was as a Gilderoy.

However, the rest of the cast, sounds effects, etc., is really, really good. I recommend it, as that Harry/Ron issue is bad, but not enough to ruin the experience of listening.

Ron and Harry are a downgrade

I've enjoyed all the entries in this new audiobook series so far, and this one is also fantastic. I have to draw attention to James McAvoy's Moody in particular, especially during "that" moment (I'm choosing not to spoil a 26 year old story JUST in case!), his performance was fantastic.

This story is a milestone in the series and I'm really looking forward to the rest of them.

A wonderful production
