The beloved stories as you’ve never experienced them. Get ready to be transported to the world of Harry Potter in a captivating production that features hundreds of unique voices and immersive sound design that brings the wizarding world vividly to life in Dolby Atmos. You’ll hear footsteps echoing through the corridors of Hogwarts and the heart-racing whoosh of the Golden Snitch as it darts past your ears in the heat of a Quidditch match. Also featuring an electrifying new musical score, The Full-Cast Audio Editions present J.K. Rowling’s iconic series as a truly spellbinding listening event for the whole family.

'Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard. Just stick out your wand hand, step on board and we can take you anywhere you want to go.'

When the Knight Bus crashes through the darkness and screeches to a halt in front of him, it's the start of another far from ordinary year at Hogwarts for Harry Potter. Sirius Black, escaped mass-murderer and follower of Lord Voldemort, is on the run—and they say he is coming after Harry. In his first ever Divination class, Professor Trelawney sees an omen of death in Harry's tea leaves... But perhaps most terrifying of all are the Dementors patrolling the school grounds, with their soul-sucking kiss...

Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter stories never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new listeners.

Starring Frankie Treadaway as Harry Potter, Max Lester as Ron Weasley, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, Simon Pegg as Arthur Weasley, Iwan Rheon as Remus Lupin, David Holmes as Stan Shunpike, Cush Jumbo as Narrator, and a full cast.

First of all I am a total fan of the Potter books. But this edition has too much overacting and Trelawny is the very worst. Like a bad amdram. However, Hugh Laurie is excellent as is Mark Addy. Sound effects are disproportionately loud too. Could have been great. Sadly isn’t.

Some dreadful overacting

absolutely loved these books and when reading it takes you into your own mind and the story unfolds in your mind, and then the books with Stephen fry reading it was awesome but this is simply outstanding the full cast just makes this even better and could be leading the way for other books to do the same my kids are loving it I love it thank you JK Rowling for the gift you gave the world.

I'm a longstanding fan of the HP books, and PoA is possibly my favourite in the series, but this version is somewhat spoiled by a few really poor casting choices.

Why is Poppy Pomfrey being voiced by a man? So weird and confusing.

Snape does not have anything near the necessary gravitas and menace. I can't imagine anyone being in the least intimidated by him.

Draco sounds like a ridiculously camp pantomime villain.

It's very difficult to understand what Sybill Trelawney is saying, her speech is all hurried and garbled.

Fortunately, the overall production is rescued by other some of the other performances which are excellent, particularly Hagrid, Dumbledore, McGonagall and the narrator.

The panting and background noise is very off putting. I don’t need to hear it very breath that’s being taken

The panting and background noise during the narration is a bit annoying

Rizz Ahmed isn’t very good for Snape’s voice, doesn’t suit him.

Music could be better.

Good delivery by the voice artists overall.
