I have listened to the German, English and now Spanish version of Harry Potter and Carlos Ponce is not as good a reader as Stephen Fry or Rufus Beck. I used it to learn Spanish and that is very helpful (especially at reduced speed) but be aware that Carlos Ponce has a Mexican accent.
Definitely a good book and worth listening

Learning Spanish so I listened to the story at .0.75 speed, and I was very impressed by Carlos Ponce’s reading, intonation and expression. It made the book so very enjoyable and really brought the characters to life.
