I read this book before listening to the audiobook and I must say Anastasia Watley does a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. I fell head over heels for the whole cast when I read it and re-fell for them after listening to it. It's the mark of a good author when the narrator can capture the essence of the book like this.
This book has everything you want from a sapphic book, amazing setting, plenty of drama, romance, found family, fun and great characters. I just love the depth of the characters Ally Mcguire creates, its not just the MCs that you get to know, but all the side characters along the way too. I absolutely fell in love with Rowan..... who doesn't love a cowgirl? A great listen from start to finish.

Moving to the outskirts when she inherits a house with land from her grandparents. It came as a big shock as this small town is not the city and she loves the city! She has no choice, no job, no prospects, so off she goes. ✨
This is a delightful slow burn romance of finding the one hot horse ranch owner next door, and a new start doesn't seem so bleak anymore. 💘
Excellent narration that is a pure joy to listen to.🎶

Okay but not great, I ,wandered, off at times. AW is one of my fave narrators but this time she missed the mark a little, sometimes I wasn't sure who was talking. The preview pretty much says it all and the ending was predictable. Still 4 stars all round !
