Most of all, the characters are so brilliant and real and they develop in ways you don’t expect. The ending is perfect.
I appreciated the way that gender is dealt with in a casual way that is really broad and also the way the world assumes women are strong and able to be muscly warriors as well as loving mothers.
This review is haphazard and does no justice to a gripping BRILLIANT book.
