a series of rather weak characters, who dilly dallied around each other like a badly mixed cake mix. i gave up half way through.

The story begins with a confusion of characters but they soon fall into place. It's a gentle tale of mostly principled characters. The prose is a bit flowery at times but it's good overall. The narrator didn't do the story full justice but it's still worth a listen.
