Beware when you wake the dragon, once out it can never be put back. Didn't see this story coming but what a way to end a series.

I loved reading about the Gallo and Griffin families. This book does not disappoint. Sebastian has been in a spiral,since being injured in the first book and his chances ruined of becoming a big basketball star. He has become more involved,with the family business. Yelena is the daughter of a Russian mafia boss she knows that since she is a woman she has not worth to the family but being available to marry whom her father chooses for her. When the meet their chemistry is explosive but Yelena is keeping a secret that could be deadly. Not going to ruin this book. Loved the set up,for future stories mom these families in the epilogue. Great series.

I don’t usually like mafia type romances, but I’ve enjoyed this whole series. Just enough hard and rough to the romance to make it the perfect book to scratch my itches. Definitely worth the listen!!!

When Sebastian’s dreams of playing professional basketball came to an end as he tried to protect his sister rather than being bitter it just made him that much more determined to find a different future within his Italian mafia family. When he rescues Yelena, he tries to keep his distance but when circumstances bring them together he is done fighting himself to stay away.

Yelena is a Russian bratva princess whose family is at war with Sebastian’s family. She knows that she isn’t supposed to develop feelings for Sebastian, but her heart feels differently however is there any way for a romance between these two to end in any other way than devastation?

Sebastian is loyal, loves deeply and his story shows he has found his rightful place both when it comes to life and love. Yelena may appear meek and mild but when pushed she shows how strong she truly is and Sebastian’s partner in every way. As the story unfolds it will keep you on edge as the suspense, action and betrayal will keep you enthralled from beginning to end. The inflections in the voices of the narrators couldn’t have been better as they brought out the heritage of the characters and made the story even more real. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession
