One of the two major philosophical traditions of the twentieth century was linguistic analysis, derived largely from Wittgenstein. a highly critical view of the philosopher's life and work. he doesn't spare Heidegger. a shame because there a surely redemptive part of his philosophy. for example, 'enframing' was a precursor to Foucault's critical thinking

Not worth the time or money: the author has no real feeling for Heidegger's thought, and is wrong on a number of points. The general attitude of the book to its subject is perfectly exemplified in the disparaging ham-accent the narrator puts on in imitation of what -- I presume -- he imagines Heidegger's comportment to have been. Very disappointing.
