An amazing story, wonderful characters, action packed, gory and some tears thrown in; this series has it all. Characters are weaved in and out throughout the series, sometimes appearing in a different form to their original one. Terrific story telling from Iain and great voice characterisations from Aubrey. My only criticism is the continuity error with Alice’s age but that’s more of a puzzle than a problem. So glad that some of the original characters are still alive at the end because I’ve grown to love them over the last 56+ hours. I’m going to miss them…now what shall I listen to next?

Iain isn't afraid to kill off what I considered to be main characters. This audio book was 56 hours long & every single penny! Each minute was a thrilling romp, with disaster & excitement conveyed through every sentence. Aubrey Parsons is a superb narrator. Thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish 👏 👍
