Summary

Hell's Corner is the blockbusting finale to David Baldacci's phenomenal Camel Club series.

For better or worse, much of him belonged to this town, even with all the pain it had caused.

Oliver Stone – leader of the Camel Club, and once his country's most skilled assassin – is called to the White House for one last covert mission.

Inside, the British Prime Minister is being honoured at a state dinner. As the motorcade leaves at the end of the evening, a bomb is detonated, and in the chaotic aftermath Stone’s assignment changes drastically – find those responsible by whatever means necessary.

Those guilty of the terror attack are elusive, capable and increasingly lethal. With nowhere else to turn, Stone enlists the help of the only people he knows he can trust: the Camel Club. But what none of them realize is that this may well be their last stand together . . .

I have read almost all of Baldacci's work and while this is nothing new it kept my interest. The story rattles along at a good pace and has enough twists and turns but as always it's the characters that I struggle with - they are just too perfect for their roles. You can always tell who the sacrificial lamb will be (normally the female side kick who Oliver Stone has been forced to work with) and that in the end stone will triumph. If you can ignore the obvious the its not a bad listen

Good but more of the same

The accent is part cockney and part a poor attempt at RP.
Really spoilt the story.

Ridiculous British accent from Orlagh Cassidy

Love the twists and turns in this book. Great narration, as in previous books in The Camel Club. I really hope there will be more books in this series. My favourite David Baldacci series.

Love it! Favourite David Baldacci series. Excellent Narration AGAIN!

The story although entertaining, was a bit far fetched even for this genre of fiction. I also found the "British " accent quite grating, half the time she sounded Australian!

Entertaining, but for die hard fans only
