About this listen

A domestic dog attack on a child leads to a complex case - the macabre discovery of indiscernible body parts amongst bin bags littering a road on the outskirts of town.

Meanwhile, a team of criminals spreads its tentacles across the sordid underworld of people trafficking, dog fighting, prostitution and murder. Is there a link between these cases, and can DCI Bennett catch a twisted killer before he strikes again?

Good book but predictable storyline and satisfactory ending. Well read. Enjoyable but not special in any way.

Good storyline.

Found parts a little difficult as a dog owner/ lover.
Overall a brilliant book that may appeal to men rather than women.
Narrator is excellent, keeps you listening really distinguishes between characters and brings the correct atmosphere into play without overwhelming the story.

What a listen

Good story but a tough subject to tackle as crime novel. Some simplification of immigration issues, understanding of Roma customs and connections to crime, possibly very much of the moment in time… this follows through to the characters as well.
But a good story overall.

The inimitable Nicholas Camm's narration is as always brilliant. A bit of a gruesome tale, but so what, I don't do sedate.

Loved it, the author is outstanding and so is the narrator. Onto the next by this dynamic duo!!

Excellent story excellently delivered.
