Loved the story and the narrator had to give the performance a low score due to bad editing cutting words short randomly pulling me out of the story thankfully the last hour or so was edited well as that would have really peeved me if the action sequence and round up had sounded like Norman Collier’s faulty microphone joke.

The story line had lost a star as I’m not sure if the book’s style is clunky romance with police procedural or police procedural with clunky romance but after reading LJ Ross where both crime and romance are elegantly written and feel natural it certainly can be a distraction.
