Her Ruthless Protector, the first book in the Night Storm series is brilliantly-written fast-paced, action-packed military romantic suspense. Given the length of the audiobook, the plot is rich, flows smoothly, with clear and concise scene transitions. The storyline is entertaining and utterly engaging, with exciting action and HOT steamy scenes. The character development is phenomenal; I absolutely loved the men, their interactions and the banter was hilarious. Of course, my favourites were Kane and A.J, their connection is electrifying and the chemistry, charged.

Usually, I have a problem with the female leads, authors tend to make them dramatic with too many insecurities, and the snark becomes nothing but annoyance. A.J., in my opinion, is the ideal heroine, confident, efficient, intelligent, capable, fast with her come back and more than a match for Kane.

Stellar narration by Ryan West and Savannah Richards. They honed in on the characters, emulating the nuances, and the animations, bringing the story to life. Caitlyn O'Leary has now become my go-to author for the genre; she is a talented author, captivating her readers/listeners with her quality plots, authentic characters, and witty dialogue. I really enjoyed this audiobook, and I highly recommend it.

I adored this story first time around on my ebook and fell in love with it all over again listening to the audiobook. AJ & Kane are two of my all time favourite characters and are brought perfectly to life by Ryan West & Savannah Richards. It definitely ticks all my boxes - action, drama, wonderful characters, hit sex and humour! The banter and back & forth works so well in the audio version.
I’ll confess I wasn’t sure about Ryan West to start with but he totally grew on me, Savannah I liked from the start.
I can’t wait for the rest of Night Storm and please, please can there be more appearances from Kane & AJ. A definite 5* read for me.

I requested and received this audiobook and I really liked it. I loved the camaraderie between the different characters (the opening scene was so funny) and it was a fantastic set up for the series. I really enjoyed the banter between AJ and Kane and the book was well paced with an exciting background story about an impending terrorist attack at a concert. The main characters were also well developed and fun- AJ was confident and smart- i love that she plays a role in helping to protect the attendees of the concert. And Kane is the alpha male, a bit typical, but what i loved was his interactions with the other characters which really brought the personality and humor into the story. Overall, really well done. The series is shaping up to be a good one!

Ryan West and Savannah Richards both did really well in the audiobook. I though Ryan West's female voice was pretty good while his male voice was very gruff but he may have intended it that way. I thought Savannah Richard's male voice got better as the book progressed (initially, I thought it sounded just a bit overdone and forced). However, they did a good job with the story so I enjoyed listening to their narration overall.

I loved this book, it grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated straight to the end. This is my first book by Caitlyn O’Leary and it will not be my last, she is a gifted author. I enjoyed her writing style the story has a natural flow to it, the storylines and characters she created are realistic and easy to relate to. I adored Kane McNamara, his dedication to his Night Storm Seal team, the mission he was on and those who he swore to protect. I loved the camaraderie amongst the members of the team, it is like a great team should be. The teams next mission is a protection detail in Oman, working the International Music Show which is is a potential target for the al-Quada terrorist. Kane meets A.J. Lancaster, the event organizer and there is instant attraction. I loved these two together and for each other, he an alpha Seal, she a strong, independent woman. She is not afraid to stand up to him, Kane has met his perfect match. I loved how everything plays out in this book, loved the great banter and dialogue, how he kept trying to guess what A.J. stood for, it added light to the seriousness of the story. This book is well plotted and there is never dull moment with plenty of drama, action, some angst, humor, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt ones and some hot romance. Thank you Caitlyn O’Leary for this great story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

Ryan West and Savannah Richards are fabulous narrators and voice artists. They did a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. The set the perfect tone for the story, captured the characters emotions and passions which could be heard in their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen🎧

I loved everything about this story. From the strong, alpha protector in Kane, to the sweet and sassiness of AJ. The chemistry between them was undeniable. AJ is a strong heroine that made me instantly like her. Kane is a Navy Seal and will do whatever it takes to complete his mission, both in his heart and head. This story is fast paced and kept me on my toes. I cannot wait to read more from the team, because I know it will be just as intense as this one. I could not put it down.

Ryan West and Savannah Richards are the perfect team for this narration. their voices complement each other and help the story to flow naturally. They bring out the suspense through their narration that kept me wanting more. I cannot wait to hear more form these two.
