Having seen an interview with Ian Rankin I decided I'd start from scratch and listen to the whole series. I really enjoyed this book and James Macpherson narrates this and the second book really well. The character continues to be developed and Edinburgh invocatively described. Thoroughly enjoyed

A really good story, well planned out with plenty twists to keep you guessing. Some of the accents were a bit ropey but all in all I really enjoyed this.

Enjoyed this one, just as good as the others but not one of the best. Good storyline kept me well griped. Well read the narrater really brings out the best of the story.

I read the first one and now this one and can’t wait to get onto the third Rebus book. Very good detective thriller and excellently written by Rankin.
