The narrators absolutely smash this and even though it’s a lot and I mean a lot of sadness and pain, you love them especially the brothers. I’m just waiting for Monty’s reappearance with unease and I have got the second book and look forward to listening to the final two but will take a little break in the form of god of fury or kiss the villain which always make me smile as I fear this series will get sadder before it gets happier. X

This book was dark, spicy, erotic, all kinds of fu*ked up, and leaves you lusting for more!!! I cannot wait for the next book. Dark romance meets psychological thriller. The first book I had no idea what was going to happen next. 5 stars *****

This is my 1st Pam Godwin boom and it will not be my last.
I went in blind, as I often do and believe me this is not for the faint hearted. Check the trigger warnings carefully. All that said. Wow! This book is incredibly written, I felt every emotion that was felt, even the disgusting ones. Denver is one of the most vile characters I have ever read. The complexity of all relationships is enthralling. Obviously, it is straight on to the next one for me as this is a 3 parter and I hate the feeling of devastation this has left me with, so I have to hope it is fixed by the end of the 3rd book.
