My heart breaks for both of them, more so for Haven as she is the innocent victim, but also for King. He lets his past rule his future, allows someone to manipulate his weaknesses for their own gain, and crushes both their hearts in the process!
Packed with emotional turmoil, heartbreaking childhoods and a fight to find themselves and their future, this is a great introduction to the series.
