The chemistry between Luca and Victor has been a running theme through the first to books and it eventually comes to a full on detention of lust in this book. Both are stubborn not wanting give in even the smallest amount to the other but when they both give in to each other it was perfect . Also Bane gets even crazier if that’s at all possible and I can’t wait for his book and i am hoping Teddy and Jake get a book as well.

Literally from prologue this is pure FIRE! My fav in the series so far and not sure it can be topped - Luca and Vik are my absolute favs and i will be rereading - straight to my all time favs shelf immediately🤍✨🫠

I’ve listened to books narrated by Harley Chase before normally in a duet and loved his performance but I’ve struggled here not because he isn’t great but I’ve stopped at chapter 9 because all the characters sound exactly the same and it needs complete and absolute focus to tell Luca and Victor apart and even if I give it that it’s just odd that everyone sounds like the same man. I loved the Silencer book one and Zane Daniel’s was crazy at making Anthony sound like an older mob boss, Tatum and Angel sound like the younger people and not mob boss like and Bane and everyone sounded different. I get it’s not easy and I like Harley Chase narrating but every character sounds like Harley Chase. Not entirely his fault the writing went a-bit round in circles and I was getting bored. I may come back to it but I’m going to pause for now. Shame because the first one was great.
