This one is even better than the first which I also thought was great. Loving that they’re written by black authors and featuring strong black female protagonists. There’s robust storytelling, social commentary and quite deep topics such as misogyny and slavery. All delivered in a fun and engaging package with added spice.
Although they should come with a trigger warning for R*pe!

Love the ethnic heroine and her almost passive aggressive behaviour which was in direct contrast to the warrior. I also think the performance was expressive and...erm...real! Is it hot in here? You bet your life!!
