About this listen

“I want to be upfront with you. No surprises, no secrets. I want you, Eva. And I think you might be it for me.”

Eva is a hot mess running from her past and doesn’t mind telling a fib or two to protect her secrets. It’s too bad that she moved to the nosiest small town in the world with Sheriff Sexy—the tall, built, human lie detector. He’s suddenly showing interest and treating every conversation like it’s an interrogation.

Donovan loves his nice, quiet, hippie town and he’s got some pretty strong feelings when it comes to a certain klutzy redhead, too. But she’s hiding something. Just when he starts to peel back those layers to get to the naked truth, the entire town loses its collective mind—and inhibitions—in what town elders identify as an astrological apocalypse.

Can he save the girl from her past and the town from itself?

Book 5 in the Blue Moon series gives us Eva the final sister of the fmcs from books 2 & 4 and Donovan the town sheriff. This was way too insta-lust/love for me and the cute quirkiness of Blue Moon was ramped up to a ridiculous degree, so much so that all of the goings on in the town overshadowed the romance completely. It just felt so ridiculously unrealistic and that entire plot with Eva's mom... just why? Safe to say this was a flop for me with this series. 🌶🌶

"I was standing there, in the middle of the happiest day of someone else's life. And it was like something punched me in the chest hard enough to knock the wind out of me," he admitted. "I've never felt anything like that before in my life. It was New Year's Eve, one of my best friend's weddings, and I felt like my future had just started."

Oh dear...
