This book started very well and I thought it was going to have real depth, but after about a third of the way in it descended into a sickly sweet tale of happy ever afters. A nice book if you're after something light and untaxing.
The performance was good, although the narrator's tone did perhaps increase the sickly factor at no fault of the author.

I enjoyed the book and the narration was on the whole good, but the silly voices, particularly for the women let it down slightly. The main character often sounded too wet to be interesting which obviously wasn't the case.
