Love yourself first! The message is LOUD AND CLEAR! Building your confidence will take some work however it IS worth it, YOU are worth it!! Steps are broken down in doable steps. Not only does the author provide action steps but she also provides resources beyond this book. She also adresses toxic relationships and setting healthy boundaries, Self Love is KEY!!

First, I’ll have to start by really highlighting the narrator! Anyone who listens to audiobooks knows that a great book could be made better with a great narrator or crushed with a dull one. This narrator had a really gentle delivery with something so intimate, but also a really lovely cadence.

As for the context of the book, it is basic but in the best ways!! It is not overly complex, focusing on tactical, realistic ways to love yourself.

The world would be better off if everyone invested in this book and took one action from each step!

This book provided great information on how to forgiven you love yourself. I love that it had the phone numbers for self help as far as like the suicide hotline and different mental health groups contact numbers and resources if you need help with domestic violence and suicide and mental health and substance abuse. I love that it talked about toxic traits and relationships. How it’s OK to cut people out of your life that are bringing you down and making your situation worse it’s not something enough people do. I like that it acknowledges that just because a persons family doesn’t mean that they’re not toxic to you because there’s so many people that make excuses for people that are toxic to them because their family members of the people that you’re supposed to be able to trust and count on the most overall a good book for anybody that might be suffering from any kind of abusive toxic relationships any kind of problems with their self-confidence and self-esteem because of their interpersonal relationships.

While Listening to this audio to this book it made think about all the times I doubted myself or felt less than. We can be our own worst enemy. Made a valid point to watch the company we keep. It’s ok not to be in every room. It’s ok to be who you are. A good step towards self acceptance and self love.
