  • How to really get to know someone (instead of just scratching the surface)
  • The art of winning someone over even when you don’t feel like socializing
  • What the first impression you create is made of...and how you can tweak it so you always leave a good one (even if you’re used to doing the complete opposite!)
  • The special "first impression"--what it is, how to leave it, and why it matters
  • How to make someone feel like the brightest star in the galaxy and how this will come back to you as a blessing
  • 10 simple rules to follow for great, smooth-flowing conversations
  • How to tell a story without getting bored of the sound of your own voice--keep your audience engaged and hungry for more
  • A solid five-step plan for remembering names (no more awkward conversations where you’re desperately trying to remember who you’re talking to!)
  • What to do when everything else fails (there’s no social glitch you can’t come back from)
  • And much more!

You don’t have to change who you are to improve your experience of social situations. But you can hone your skills so that every single conversation you have is a smooth one and make it easy to maintain long-lasting relationships, no matter how social you are.

There is a ton of good information in "How to Talk to Anyone and Enchant Them into Liking You". Although I got this to help guide my daughter in the ways of friendship and getting along with others, I found tools that I plan to use myself. I especially liked the chapter called "What's on your cover". It's really nice to hear the author's personal experiences, which made the book more engaging to listen to. So interesting to hear about "the iphone effect", wow! Narrator's voice is great as well!

So much great info here!

Getting back out there in the dating world after being in a longterm relationship ends can really make you feel like you need to brush up on your “likeability factor”. I thoroughly enjoyed this listen, and got so much out of it for other areas of my life outside of dating.

Chapter 5, “keep the convo going” was the most helpful in the book and I learned so much from the principles that I’ve already started to use them when chatting with new guys. Highly recommend this book to those getting back out there!

I can’t wait to recommend this to friends

I have never been great at small talk and I am normally the quiet one in the group. This was a really useful audiobook as it broke down the different ways you can build conversational rapport with others. Just by asking people about their lives and actively listening to them is central to creating a conversation that flows easily. I enjoyed the audiobook and I will certainly try putting the techniques taught within the guide into practice at upcoming Christmas events.
