About this listen

My name is Lexie, and I raise the dead.

Necromancy isn't all I can do. But that's for another time.

It's my first week at the university, and an accident has sent our world spinning. A decision that should be years in the making now has to be made in mere days. The repercussions are big—not just for my life but for the guys' as well.

Everyone will feel my choice. Everyone will have to live with it. What the hell do I do?

I've had this on my wish list since it came out but wasn't sold on the narrators when I listened to the sample. I've recently had a re-listen to the Veil Diaries so thought I'd buy this and listen . I really did want to like it but found it rather disappointing, there's no depth to this book as there were in the other books, it was OK but nothing to write home about . the narrators are also different which I know sometimes can't be helped but Ethans low husky voice is now squeaky and nasal and Zekes is also very high and nearly feminine. I don't think I'll be continuing this series which is a shame .

I wanted to like this.
