Summary

 Geoff Howells, a government-trained killing machine, is brought out of retirement and sent to Hong Kong. His brief: to assassinate Chinese Mafia leader Simon Ng. Howells devises a dangerous and complicated plan to reach his intended victim - only to find himself the next target.

Great read for the lads. Action packed from the off and Russell Boulter reads this book so well. a real must if you like an action packed thriller. couldn't believe how old the book was as it has worn the years well.

I particularly enjoyed this story - goes at a fast pace, is engaging and all very plausible. For the most part set in areas of Hong Kong and the New Territories that I used to know well. One of Stephen Leather's better books - well read and thoroughly enjoyed.

Not much to say...after years of not reading books or listening to them....its a classic Leather thriller which never fails on a great plot/story

Loved the story, the suspense and the thrill! I am sorry, not fond of an American accent. There is only one thing worse than some American accents; it has to be a fake one! Oh dear! How annoying!
