A perfect example of beautiful writing. Every word counts and the stories are gripping. Just brilliant.

This book is certainly a quite intense listen. It made me feel I have led a very quiet life! It is well narrated, with expression. It is not a listen for soothing and calm perhaps, although it is very engaging and well written. The author has had a pretty tough time it seems and her sense of anger at what life deals us is palpable.
