I loved this book! Two totally different women from different worlds falling in love in such a delicious way! It has steam, romance, a police uniform and an appearance from Leila, what more could you want?

What could possibly go wrong? The auspices for any kind of romance let alone a 2nd date are very remote. But somehow two singular characters undermine their narratives and start to explore making some drastic changes to their outlook. Fine narration for rich and rough and interesting character development.

I enjoyed this so much it was difficult for me to leave it be. The characters pulled me in. I loved being part of this journey. Excellent writing from a wonderful Author.

Abby, I can't find any other voice/narrator, that is so capable of making each character so individual. You are so skilled in your craft and an absolute must in my book.
