Brooke Kent hasn't spoken to a single member of her family in thirteen years.
That's all changed when her younger brother calls her to invite her to his wedding. He tells her to bring her girlfriend, partner, spouse, or the woman she hooks up with on Tuesdays; he doesn't care who, just wants her there. Brooke would be tempted to take him up on that, only she's painfully single.
When she tells her two best friends about her dilemma, they suggest that Brooke invite Anna Fourchette, the woman Brooke has been pining over for almost a year. To Brooke's surprise, Anna agrees. Can Brooke really handle a week in London dealing with her estranged family? And more importantly, can she pretend to date the woman of her dreams without falling in love for real along the way?

#Fake Dating but Real Feelings
#Dealing with Family Trauma
#The Biggest ‘Fuck You’
I’ve been excited to listen to this one for a while, and I couldn’t wait to dive in after it was released this week!
Apparently, I’m a sucker for Fake Dating, who knew?
This story gave me EVERYTHING!!
Not only are Brooke and Anna wonderful, sarcastic, flirty and fun, their friends and support networks are WILD!
This story is full of teasing, fun, word play, puns, undeniable attraction and the type of banter real friends would have.
Emily K Hardy’s way of navigating difficult, raw and emotional topics, is done beautifully, and nothing was rushed or overlooked.
Anna’s near-constant support and fierce protectiveness was perfectly matched by Brooke’s vulnerability and resolve.
The biggest “Fuck You” felt earned and righteous. I will absolutely listen to this one again very soon!
I laughed aloud, felt the deep hurt Brooke’s carried around all those years, and truly fell in love with Brooke and Anna’s relationship.
From the Pet Names to the pleasure party, I was here for it!
And of course, Quinn Riley narrating is perfection. The English accent has so many dialects, even for someone from the UK, she nailed it.
I always know whenever she involved I will love it, and this time is no different.
I’m in awe of your talent and just how much your voice in my head brings these characters to life.
Never stop being awesome.
A debut worth taking notice of! Amazing!
