I recently discovered Laura on Facebook and then saw she had a book. I was so intrigued by this woman and her husband's authenticity and honesty about they're struggles with addiction I absolutely had to give it a listen. Much more constructive, helpful and enjoyable than I expected it to be. Will be reccomending as a lighter read / listen to friends in recovery circles. Great job Laura 🤘

I loved the book. It tells such an amazing life story! I heard it and loved the fact I felt Laura was talking to me and telling me her story!

I loved this book. An audio book is almost always best when read by the author and this is certainly the case with this book. Laura's openness, humour and comic timing are marvellous. I repeatedly found myself laughing out loud. If you have a dark sense of humour and can laugh at the human condition that probably helps. Even through the dark bits - I was welling up with tears at those - hope and humour are never far away.

By the end of this book you find yourself thinking about what is important in life, the struggles we all go through to find our way (humans and pugs alike) and perhaps wondering about all the times you too have been an idiot...and laughing at yourself. Yep definitely laughing.

Its a wonderful, positive and hope-filled read. :)
