I had finally done it! I achieved the ultimate Paladin build with maxed stats, impenetrable armor, and so many resistances. I was an unkillable tank, an indomitable force, nothing could stop me. Even Death itself had given up on me.
And then my PC exploded.
Oh the irony, I actually died.
Instead of the afterlife, I woke up as my Paladin character… in a different world. Instead of castles and dungeons, people were flying around on swords and shooting qi beams as if they were laser guns.
I just wanted to go home, but I found myself facing a foreign demonic force. With a target on my back and a disciple by my side, home would have to wait.

The story eludes to certain revelations regarding his player character and the game world he was in. There is a small inconsistency when it comes to the MCs perception of his own strength compared to the world.
The side characters werent really fleshed out enough, but i can excuse that to this being the first book.
all on all ill keep an eye out for the next book.
